Metal parts require flexibility, smoothness, good surface electroplating treatment, no rust, burrs, etc., and high precision is required for mating parts. Plastic parts should have a beautiful appearance, bright colors, and the focus areas during use should have strength and elasticity, and should not be too thin. 4. Main dimensions. The main dimensions (i.e. functional dimensions) of furniture are specified in national standards. According to regulations, the depth of space inside the wardrobe for hanging long clothes should be greater than or equal to 530mm, the distance between the upper edge of the clothes hanging stick and the upper surface of the bottom plate should be greater than or equal to 1400mm, the height of desk furniture should be specified as 680mm~760mm, the middle clearance height from the lower edge of the middle drawer of the office desk to the ground height should be greater than or equal to 580mm, and the interlayer clearance height of the bookshelf should be greater than or equal to 230mm~310mm. If the furniture is smaller than the specified size, it will bring many inconveniences and affect its use.
5. Limit of harmful substances in wooden furniture. The harmful substances present in furniture mainly include free formaldehyde released from artificial boards and adhesives, as well as soluble lead, chromium, cadmium, and mercury in furniture paint films.
